1970′s Spanish Style House Remodel
2nd Place, Residential ASID Award – Complete Remodel & Custom Fixture Design
This project consisted of a complete interior and exterior remodel. The homeowner’s goal was to remove all traces of the 70′s Spanish style architecture in favor of a contemporary design integrating custom metals and detailing as a means to market the homeowner’s metal fabrication business. Use of natural materials such as mahogany, copper, stainless steel and granite are integrated with colorful plaster wall finishes to counter-balance the harshness of ‘cold metal’ and give a warm inviting feeling.
It is always a comfort knowing Sandy is watching over the details knowing she will guide her client to maximize the gain, minimize the headache and create an award-winning project that we all can be proud of in the end. – Greg Brockman
